Hartshorne, Process Philosophy, and Theology by Robert H. Kane PDF

A collection of papers on various aspects of Hartshorne's work, with an essay by Hartshorne himself responding to all the other authors.

The book opens with a piece by David Ray Griffin, which is the best introduction to process thought and Hartshorne that I have read to date, outlining the main contributions process philosophy seeks to make, and the problems it aims to solve in both classical theology and modern philosophy. Griffin's piece would be a great piece to start for any philosophy student wondering about why they should bother with Hartshorne or Whitehead.

Many of the other papers focused on very specific and sometimes less important aspects of Hartshorne, but there are a number of good pieces discussing the relation of Hartshorne to analytic philosophy, the problem of theodicy in process theology, and as well as theological problems around God's omniscience and omnipotence.
